Author’s Note: Title inspired by The Twilight Zone episode, “The Monsters are Due on Maple Street” written by series creator Rod Serling. Opening quote taken from The Twilight Zone episode, “Third from the Sun” written by Rod Serling. Story vaguely inspired by a mash-up of both “The Monsters are Due on Maple Street” and “Third from the Sun”.

Nicholas Brendon will be appearing at Hallowhedon from 30th October to 1st November. The event is being held at The Thistle Hotel at Heathrow and will also feature James Marsters. There are talks, Q & As, photoshoot sessions, autographs and parties. Earlier this year I attended the Torchwood event The Hub 2 which is run by the same people and follows the same format, and I can tell you I had the absolute time of my life. It's honestly worth every single penny. Hell, I'm happy to pay the ticket price just for the hug with Nicky!

So, who's coming with me?!

Here's Nicholas Brendon as geeky stud-muffin Kevin Lynch on Criminal Minds. His shirt is especially hideous, but that just gives us an excuse to rip his clothes off. ;-) In my mind, this is really Xander after he was put into the witness protection program. Internet cookies to anyone that wants to write that plot bunny.

xander_dot_comm, the community for fans of Xander Harris from Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

You may post anything you like as long as it is related to Xander, Nicholas Brendon or any of the characters he plays from other shows. As Dreamwidth expands, we may consider creating other communities to house the non-Xander-specific posts. But for now, anything goes!

Layout, tags, a decent profile and community graphics will appear shortly, but feel free to get posting as soon as you like.
